Starved Soul by Blanca Alicia Garza

Starved Soul

Take my skin and use
it as an empty canvas;
write beautiful poetry
upon my starved soul.
Keep my spirit wrapped
safely in your golden light;
your love is like a raging
river within my heart.

(First published in "Apple Fruits of an Old Oak" Anthology)
